What is a ballet variation?
Variations are short dances from full-length ballets that include solos, duets trios or small groups. The mastery of a dancer's ballet technique is the heart of the variation.
Why is it important to learn ballet variations?
Variations teach stamina, spacing, stage presence, and many other things essential to ballet dancing. If dancers are going to be successful in a professional company, dancers have to be able to complete a decent variation.

played a significant role in her path as a dance artist, my children, Andrew and Barrett, my instructor Renee Crouch, Angie Banchero-Kelleher and my long time mentor and friend Nichol Ortega. To my mother, and my late father, thank you for my life, I love you. |
Serena Webb began dancing at a young age against her will, and has been dancing ever since. Serena Webb received her BFA Degree in Modern Dance from Utah Valley University.
