APPRENTICE TRAINING ProgramOur Apprentice Training Level are designed for serious dance artists who have interest in self expression, and dance as a performance art. Participating dancers ages 14+ will follow our unique syllabus highlighting the technique and theory of dance, which is designed to offer a well-rounded dance education.
Dancers will have the opportunity to take classes with our professional company and perform in various shows throughout the season. Apprentices will participate in our professional company's production of The Nutcracker and the Mouse Queen and are eligible to participate in other professional productions throughout the season. They will also perform in our Academy's Fall Showcase and hold lead roles in the end of year production. Required classes include, but are not limited to, ballet, modern, jazz, pointe, and choreography. Dancers will also have the opportunity to take master classes in varying genres, dance theory, somatic studies, and dance-conditioning. Dancers MAY have the opportunity travel and tour to "The Shakespeare Festival," and compete for scholarships in the national YAGP competition. These opportunities will by volunteer only, and are never required. Fees for extracurricular activities are NOT included in monthly tuition. Our classes are curriculum-based. Students must participate in every class assigned in order to meet the requirements to stay in these levels. The Apprentice Training program is by invitation or audition only. NON-PERFORMANCE TRACK FOR ADVANCED DANCERSOur non performance track is for advance dancers 14+ who wish to maintain their technical proficiency, but cannot commit to a serious dance program. Dancers have the option to take technique classes with our advanced dancers and will NOT perform.

We require a specific dress code for each class. We have included links BELOW for you to purchase the items required for each class.

WDA Yearly Fees
ALL tuition/fees/monies/registrations paid for any, and all events/camps/classes/workshops/activities are NON-REFUNDABLE
Annual Registration Fee: $35 per family due yearly with first months payment of new season (register before July 15th and registration fee is waived)
All Inclusive Tuition: Take the guesswork out of your monthly budget. Our pricing INCLUDES your costumes & recital fees! (dress code items and performance tickets not included).
Other Fees: Travel and accommodation fees, and YAGP fees will be TBD and are not included in fees above
Family Discount: 2 or more students 10% off monthly tuition (does not apply to registration or performance fees).
