Serena WebbFounder/Artistic Director
Serena Webb received her BFA Degree in Modern Dance from Utah Valley University in 2008, and is a Barre Above fitness trainer. She has danced for many years, specializing in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, and Jazz Dance. Serena has been trained in the Vaganova method of ballet, and took from the Ballet West Conservatory in her youth. She has danced in the Ballet West's Nutcracker and Utah Opera's Hansel and Gretel at a young age. During college, she performed on Utah Valley University's pre-professional Modern Dance company Contemporary Dance Ensemble.
Serena has worked with a variety of other professional dancers and choreographers with companies such as Ballet West, Ririe-Woodbury, Repertory Dance Theater, Utah Metropolitan Ballet, and Alivin Ailey. She co-founded Body Logic Dance Company in 2009, where she worked as Artistic Director, dancer, choreographer, and board member. She co-founded Body Logic Dance Academy in 2014, and expanded her passion for dance education and a strong technical foundation in young dance students, while providing them a supportive and nurturing environment. She founded Serena Webb Dance Theater and Webb Dance Academy in 2023. |
Kirsten TuckerAcademy Director
Kirsten Tucker started dancing at a very young age, and trained extensively in Ballet with Children's Ballet Theatre and Russian Institute of Ballet. She also danced on Skyline High School's dance company for three years where she learned to teach and choreograph. She was accepted into University of Utah's ballet program in 1994, and was a company member on their Character Dance Team. There she worked with a variety of dance professionals on Utah Ballet and Ballet West. She danced in a number of productions such as "The Ice Queen," "Giselle," and was highlighted as a soloist in William Christensen's "Coppelia," one of the last productions he directed before he passed away. She is a current company dancer and Associate Director of Serena Webb Dance Theater.
When Kirsten is not teaching dance she is the proud mother of six children, is a professional hair stylist, and a Cosmetology instructor. She is excited to share her dance passion each week with her students! |

Hey there, I’m Mia! I’m a bilingual associate here at Serena Webb’s Dance Theater. I’ll always be here to greet you with a smile and help you out with enrollments or any questions you may have about our program. Si tienes alguna pregunta, yo soy tu chica! aubrey wrightAubrey Wright has grown up in the heart of New York City. She started dancing at the age of four with the American School of Ballet at the Lincoln Center. She continued exploring her passion for dance by attending the Fiorello H. LaGuardia school for the Performing Arts. Her artistic expression in movement was furthered by studying dance at Brigham Young University. She has performed works by Jesse Obremski, Nicola Von Arx, Bruce Wood, Alwin Nikolai, and excerpts from the Martha Graham dance company.
Aubrey specializes in Contemporary, Jazz, and Musical Theater. Her choreographic works have been shown at the Red Rock Dance Festival (St. George), Lincoln Center, the Jacques d'amboise National Dance Institute, and the Temper Theater. She is also a current company member of Serena Webb Dance Theater. She is so excited to be a teacher at Webb Dance Academy! |
Carla ririe |
Instructor
Carla started dancing at a very early age with her mother as her ballet teacher. Later at the age of 16, Carla graduated from The University Mayor of San Marcos with Vera Stastny as a ballet teacher. She continued learning dance pedagogy and technique from Lucy Telge de Linder, Miguel Angel, and others. She traveled to the United States in 1985, and enhanced her dance education at the Christiansen Ballet in Salt Lake City, as well as with Alisher Saburov, Veronica Frei frau Von from Moscow, and Rocio Silva.
Carla has performed in The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, The Faust, One thousand and One Night, and Habanera. She has also performed Russian folk dance, Peruvian dance, and American Folk dance. Her exceptional talent and skills in teaching choreography and dance has inspired many students to continue dancing. She also has accumulated a long list of performance and teaching in a large variety of dance genres such Jazz and Hip hop, Flamenco, Classical Ballet, Middle Eastern dance, Latin, Ballroom, Theater, Gymnastics, and even tournaments in Martial Arts. |
Sophia RolfsInstructor
Sophia Rolfs has been dancing since she was five years old, competing since she was eight, and has been teaching dance for two years. She is a recent graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor's of Science in Political Science, and plans on going to law school next year. She loves performing and sharing her passion for dance with kids. She also performs professionally with Serena Webb Dance Theater.
