AUDITION NOTICE
principal dancer audition
Serena Webb Dance Theater is seeking male and female dancers ages 18+ for our 2023-2024 season. We are looking for individuals skilled in both modern and ballet dance. All dancers must be at a pre-professional or professional level. Dancers must also be comfortable with acting and pantomime.
Principal dancers will receive featured roles in all of our productions. Dancers will receive a performing stipend per performance and 1% of ticket sales. Rehearsals are UNPAID, but will have the opportunity to be paid in the future. Company dancers will participate in and can volunteer to teach weekly technique classes.

Sherlock Holmes (World Premier) June 2024 (exact dates TBD) at the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center
Auditions
First set of auditions will be virtual. If we are interested in hiring you, you will be contacted to come for a call back and a meeting with the director.

No late submissions accepted. Dancers will be notified of callbacks shortly after.
Expectations and Commitments:
Dancers must commit to all classes, rehearsals, and performances and will be required to sign a performance contract. Dancers can talk to directors about any scheduling conflicts before rehearsals, and we will generally work with you. Dancers chosen for the company will be sent information via the primary email address they provided, which includes the dancers' schedule, as well as other pertinent information. Please choose the best email address for your primary email since this is the way we will use to communicate with you.
Rehearsals Dates- September 11, 2023-December 21, 2023 (NATMQ) (excluding holidays) February 12, 2024-June 1, 2024 (SH)
Rehearsal Days- All days/times do not apply, will be depend on role in each production): Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 7:30-10 pm, Saturdays 1:00-4:30 pm
Technique Classes: Mondays 7:30-8:30 pm and Saturdays 1:00-2:00 pm
