Participating dancers ages 16+ will follow our unique syllabus highlighting the technique and theory of dance, which is designed to offer a well-rounded dance education.
Dancers will have the opportunity to take classes with our professional company and perform in various shows throughout the season. Apprentices will participate in our professional company's production of The Nutcracker and the Mouse Queen and are eligible to participate in other professional productions throughout the season. They will also perform in our Academy's Fall Showcase and hold lead roles in the end of year production.
Required classes include, but are not limited to, ballet, modern, jazz, pointe, and choreography. Dancers will also have the opportunity to take master classes in varying genres, dance theory, somatic studies, and dance-conditioning.
Dancers MAY have the opportunity compete for scholarships in the national YAGP competition. These opportunities will by volunteer only, and are never required. Fees for extracurricular activities are NOT included in monthly tuition. Private rates to be scheduled with admin.
Our classes are curriculum-based. Students must participate in every class assigned in order to meet the requirements to stay in these levels.
