Sophomore Level classes consist of Ballet, Modern, and Jazz technique. Students will also begin to study pointe, somatics, dance conditioning, improvisation, and beginning choreography basics. All classes are required, and are an essential part of a well-rounded dance education. Each class provides dancers with fundamental training, helping them to grow and thrive in the evolving world of dance.
All of our class levels are curriculum-based. Students must participate in every class assigned to their level in order to hold their spot, and meet the requirements to advance into the next level.

In our Sophomore Level dancers will continue to increase their technical abilities, physical stamina, flexibility, and creativity while taking part of a welcoming dance community. At this level dancers have grown to become young dance artists, and continue to work towards excellence, while being taught to be their personal best.

We require a specific dress code for each class. We have included links BELOW for you to purchase the items required for each class. If there is no link you are free to purchase these items at the location of your choice.

SWDT in MAROON (in preferred style(s) or equivalent: LINK 1 LINK 2 LINK 3 (we recommend always ordering one size up)
Convertible SKIN colored tights and SKIN colored Ballet shoes
Black SWDT biker shorts or leggings can be worn for Modern and Jazz over required leotard
Dance Socks for Jazz: Adult Size Link
Hair in bun, no jewelry: Ballet shoes will be worn for ballet and barefoot for Modern
